Captain Mark and I play our first Captain Pro match on Thursday evening which I hope will be the first of many. Remember if you want to challenge us please pop in and see me to arrange a time and date. Thursday evenings, Saturday and Sunday afternoons are good for Mark and I, obviously depending if there is a competition on or not.

Another busy weekend of competitions saw Martin Farrow and Tony Marsham win the Famous Grouse Foursomes on Saturday with a nett 72. On Sunday we had the Monthly Medal with Lee Chapman winning Division One with a nett 67, Hayden Grand winning Division Two with a nett 69 and Richard O'Neill winning Division Three with fabulous nett 63. Well done to all of you!

Bad luck to our Junior Team consisting of Kasey Bailey, Jake Bailey and Jamie Bool, on Saturday when playing in the County Junior Team Championship they lost out to Newton Green by one point in the stableford aggregate format. They will have a chance to gain revenge mind you in the County Junior Handicap Cup where they have been draw to play Newton Green again in July.

As yet I have no news for the ladies section but having spoken to Maggie this will have changed by next week's newsletter.
