TaylorMade comes to Gorleston...
We'll start this week with some exciting news, as we announced last week as from tomorrow (Friday), we will stocking TaylorMade this year. Yesterday, Tiger Woods also announced he is joining the TaylorMade family! What greater endorsement of a club manufacturer then when one greatest golfers ever chooses your brand over all of the others he has tested.
Tiger will be using a 2016 M2 driver and an 2017 M1 3-wood and 5-wood. He will still have his Nike irons and wedges in that bag until TaylorMade make something more suitable for him.
I will certainly be glued to the TV tonight watching how Tiger gets on with his new woods at his latest come-back event at Torrey Pines. If you would like to see what all the fuss is about with the TaylorMade M series woods, please click here to book yourself a fitting or just pop in to have a little play in the Swing Zone.

On the Course...
In competition news, both the Men's Mid-week Stableford and the re-arranged November event couldn't take place this week because of the frosty conditions, so we only have two competitions to mention. First is the Mixed Foursomes played on Saturday afternoon where Jenny and David Watson, both fresh off a lesson from the day before, won with 30 points over 16 holes. Well done both of you! In second came Jayne Standen and Peter Aldred with 29 points beating Jean and Gerry Eagling on countback. On Wednesday the ladies played their winter foursomes where Jan Parsons and Heather Harvey won with 32 points. Jayne Standen and Sheena Emrick came second with 31 and Rosemary Woodhouse and Jenny Watson came third with 30 points.
