Ladies Stableford
With the weather subsiding over the last seven days the club has made a return to competitive action so we'll start this week with the ladies section and fantastic win for Jo Crosswell in the Monthly Divisional Stableford played last Wednesday. Jo won division two with a superb 39 points, seven better than the field! Chris Knappett won division one with 32 points on countback from Jayne Standen. In division two Maureem Duckett came runner up to Jo with 32 points and Lisa Gillings won division three with 30 points and Maggie Hart was second on 29 points.
Men's Mid-week Stableford
Last Thursday the men played the mid-week Stableford in very frosty conditions with Mervyn Eagle taking home the spoils with 42 points. In second came Ray Mcwilliam also on 42 points but lost on count back and in third came Andrew Clifford with 41 points on countback from Stephen Gee and Jim Robinson.
Friday Night Swing Zone Challenge
Last Friday we had the latest fourball tackling the Friday Night Swing Zone Challenge. Danny Perring, Josh Manser, Tommy Hunt and Jack Keyzor had an amazing nine holes, around the back nine of the Brabazon in the Texas Scramble format and shot a gross 30 (nett 29) to take the lead by two shots! Great shooting gents! The next couple of Friday nights are FREE if anybody else would like to take part just give me a call to book yourselves in to what is a great bit of fun.

Mixed Foursomes
On Saturday we had the Mixed Foursomes which was won by Jayne Standen and Peter Aldred on countback from Jan Parsons and Ed Ogle both pairs with 34 points. Heather and Ivan Harvey, armed with some new woods, came third with 33 points.
Men's Roll-up Stableford
On Sunday we had the Men's Roll-up Stableford which was won by Ben Leuty with 39 points which has cut him to a five handicap, well done Ben! In second came Jamie Gough with 36 points on countback from Lee Chapman and Matt Alp also with 36 points. Some might say the big winner though was John Cater who managed to pick up £52 for his two on the 7th hole. It was quite a large amount for a two in the Roll-up Stableford but John was the only player to get one and we had a roll over from the two previous Roll-up Stablefords, well done John!

Cash for Clubs
The "Cash for Clubs" campaign continues to be very popular. So far we have liquidated over £340 worth of members' golf equipment in to cash on to members' shop accounts. Not everything has been selling but well over 75% has with second hand PING equipment proving very popular. Remember if you have any old unwanted golf clubs, bring them and we'll see if we can turn them in to cash on to your pro shop account for you!
